Big TV is just selling the Set Top Boxes, but not doing the installation in proper time.
I took one Set top box last week at Hyderabad , and calling the customer care everyday, but nobody is calling or nobody coming for installation.Now one week is over

Why do none of these DHT providers offer the Christian reilgious channels like Daystar or Miracle Net. These are free to air channels.

Fraud in the name of Reliance Big TV. Can any one help? Can any one guide me in taking the so called big company to task for false promises, the after sales service is so pathetic. I was given to know that Big TV team was committed to install the dish within 48 hours after registration and going by ADBAG companies name I was fooled. Now its almost a week and there is no proper response from customer care. TO ALL THE CUSTOMERS WHO INTEND TO GO FOR BIG TV - BEWARE OF THE SERVICE.

I ordered for Big TV yesterday afternoon they delivered set up box last evening and they installed the whole thing this morning... Good service by reliance

I purchased BIGTV from Digital shoppy on 29/08/2008 and I have contacted the Toll free number and they have given the work order number by saying that it will be “INSTALLED” on 30th August 2008.( they took my address and cell number)
02. I contacted on 30th of August 2008 and refer the compliant number (74945321) , then they told me that I will get a call from service Engineer before 4pm and again I contacted at 5.30PM and then They said that I will get call from service engineer on 31st Aug 2008.

03. AGAIN I contacted on 31st of August 2008 and refer the compliant number (74945321) , then they told me that I will get a call from service Engineer before 6pm and again I contacted at 8.00PM and then They said that I will get call from service engineer on 1st Sep 2008.

04. AGAIN I contacted on 1st of September 2008 and refer the compliant number (74945321) , then they told me that I will get a call from service Engineer before 12 AN and again I contacted at 2.00PM and then They said that I will get call from service engineer on 2st Sep 2008.

05. AGAIN I contacted on 2nd of September 2008 and refer the compliant number (74945321) , then they told me that I will get a call from service Engineer before 12 AM and again I contacted at 3.00PM and then They said that I will get call from service engineer on 3rd Sep 2008.

06. AGAIN I contacted on 3rd of September 2008 and refer the compliant number (74945321) , then they told me that I will get a call from service Engineer before 9.00 AM and again I contacted at 4.00PM and then They said that I will get call from service engineer on 4th Sep 2008

07. AGAIN I contacted on 4th of September 2008 and refer the compliant number (74945321) , then they told me that I will get a call from service Engineer before 10.00 AM and again I contacted at 4.00PM and then They said that I will get call from service engineer on 5th Sep 2008

08. AGAIN I contacted on 5th of September 2008 and refer the compliant number (74945321) , then they told me that I will get a call from service Engineer before 10.00 AM and again I contacted at 4.00PM and then They said that I will get call from service engineer on 6th Sep 2008

09. AGAIN I contacted on 6th of September 2008 and refer the compliant number (74945321) , then they told me that I will get a call from service Engineer before 10.00 AM and again I contacted at 4.00PM and then They said that “ Your compliant has been booked against different Work order number so we cannot contact you and now I am going to create new compliant number(75301018) , then it will be solved your problem on 7th Sep 2008 and get it installed. Sorry for inconvenience” It was told by Meenakshi from Customer care

08. AGAIN I contacted on 7th of September 2008 and refer the compliant number (75301018) , then they told me that “ the compliant number is different and your address is not fully updated in that .I am going to update the address in compliant (75331018) and will get a call from service Engineer before 10.00 AM and again I contacted at 4.00PM and then They said that I will get call from service engineer on 8th Sep 2008

09. Today is 9th and nobody has contacted from Reliance for installation.
I am frustrated to contact Customer care people and I do not want to listen saying the “ Sorry for inconvenience and It will be installed soon”.

I am Surej from Chennai. I am having both Tata Sky & Big TV with me. When compared to Tata Sky, Big TV service is nothing. For changing channels, long waiting. And also channel pricing is more.

All these channels indirectly form a caucus and do not bother about senior citizens' requirement considering their financial and physical situation.
What I want is that atleast one DTH provider one set of language channels consisting of ,news,Music,entertainment in languages as reqd. by the sr.citizen. Also it should include one english news channel, one Business channel, Aastha,Sanskar, one sports ,BBC, Doordarshan regional,Doordarshan national,and any one channel from national geographic/Discovery. For this basic requirement, the DTH ptovider should charge only -not more than -Rs.50/month as subscription. It should be only for Sr.Citizens/poor people. Can any DTH provider think in this line ?

BIG tv its not working properly after 1 month of its purchase. While changing channels its getting hang which is a irritating one. So i'm thinking to buy airtel. can anyone pls suggest which is best?

I would bring to your kind notice that I am unable to understand that big tv is not broadcasting DD CHANDDANA a free channel in karnataka why they not broadcasting and other recent kannada channel ushae is not included in regional pack

FRIENDS!!!! Go in for either DISH TV OR TATA SKY. They are the real leaders and are at their helm of affairs giving the most competitive and efficient services. No one can beat them. Rest of the players in the market are just Junks and Frauds. The leader of the Fraud Pack is Reliance BIG TV, which can be termed as Big Bania Fraud TV.

The picture quality of tata sky is best even though it is not mpeg4 technology. Luv to watch tatasky hd .

dish tv is also become a bad one. i activated silvarsaver from my existing silver pack. but after 4 days i wanted to get back to silver pack again. but i was told from cc that this silver pack is not available, they r opportunist and dnt want to loss 25 rs from my silversaver. because silver pack is 125 nd silversaver is 150. so if they degrade my pack then they will loose 25, which they dnt want. it does not matter to them whether the consumer can afford or not. i think airtel 145 pack is better than distv 150. many pay channels r there in airtel. i m going to purchase airtel and leaving dishtv.

I was a customer of Tata Sky but decided to go for Airtel DTH only because it was broadcasting B4U music channel. I wish I had continued with Tata Sky. The quality of Airtel DTH is very bad and the signal goes off whenever there is a strong wind or even mild rain!!! There has been no response from the company even after repeated complaints. Also, the time to switch channels takes much much longer with Airtel DTH. It seems to me that it takes one minute to change from one channel to another with Airtel DTH, while Tata Sky's channel switching is seamless. ajayraoblr@google.com

ALL DTH SERVICE PROVIDERS COMPELL THE CUSTOMER TO WATCH ACCORDING TO PROVIDER AND NOT ACCORDING TO CUSTOMER'S WISH. ALL DTH SERVICES CARRY COMPULSORILY SOUTH CHANNELS OR A HANDFUL OF SOUTHERN CHANNELS. BY ALL MEANS EARNING MONEY IS THEIR ULTIMATE AIM AND THEY ARE SUCCESSFULLY DOING THIS.WHO CARES ABOUT CUSTOMERS? Hi Guyes!!!
If you are facing lot of problems in DTH service even at the time of installation, keep your invoice which is a valid proof of purchase DTH CPE. And "Yes" TRAI is listen to you, I have my own experience, TRAI really helps you out. But I have shortest way to get out of this mess and you will get your all money back and you can go for good DTH service provider.

First you should manitain the complaint database such as date, time of call to customer care, complaint numbers, work order numbers etc. as Mr. Jonnakuti maintained as above. And then Interested persons can send your queries, and the complaint database to my mail advocate.keshav.pandit@gmail.com, I'll give you the justice...Thanks!!!
