In the recent electricity bills received by Reliance Energy consumers, Reliance ADAG has launched a scheme to help in the promotions of Big TV.Created for the Reliance Energy users, the marketing scheme boasts of Big TV's affordability as compared to its Tata Sky and Dish TV counterparts. The bill contained one advertisement speaking about "Big Masti on Big TV", talking about Big savings with, over 200 channels, Mpeg-4 compression, Pay per view and a digital experience.
The other advertisement spoke about the scheme that asked Reliance energy users to pay Rs.3000 and get a Big TV connection with two months of subscription. The offer also included access to 40 pay per view cinema movies that are worth Rs.2000, this would be valid for a period of two months. The offer also includes a Home Insurance Policy worth Rs.499 that is valid for one year.This scheme according to Big TV costs the consumer Rs.501 when you subtract the free offers included. While Tata Sky and Dish TV cost Rs.3099 and Rs.2664 for a Set Top Box, Installation Charges and 2 Months Subscription.
